Card Class Preview

I will be having a card class at Endless Ideas in downtown Muscatine on January 12th at 1:00pm. Here is a sneak peek at two of the cards we'll be making. The card on the left uses a cute Whipper Snapper cow stamp, and the sentiment on the inside says "moo-chas grass-ias". Ha!

The card on the right uses the new SU Embrace Life set, as well as the small flower punch. I am looking forward to this class! If you would like more details, please email me at chapinjennifer@yahoo.com.

Have a wonderful day!

Flip Book

This project is one that my friend Cinda asked me to do. She owns the local scrapbook store and has a bunch of these little blank flip books and wanted me to do a class using them. I put this together the other night using the new Ginger Blossom paper from Stampin' Up!
This picture of my husband and I is inside the front cover. The black and white labels are 7 Gypsies brand.
The pages are all on the inside of the back cover and flip out as you pull the tab on the right hand side of the book.
Here on the very right edge you can see the pulltab stamped with the flowers from Spring Solitude.

I'm excited about how it turned out and it should be a fun class. Heading off to bed now.....snow is in the forecast tonight! :)

Some Christmas Gifts

Okay, so first off, I need some serious help with updating my blog on a regular basis...I just realized I haven't been on for a month! That is really going to be one of my new year's resolutions this year....update blog at least 3 times a week. Attainable? Hmmm, we'll see!

Well, one of my favorite parts of Christmas is giving out gifts, especially handmade ones. This year, I decided to give some of my regular customers some card kits for Christmas. Included were everything to make this card, except adhesive. I thought, you know, everyone can use thank you cards around Christmas time, so what better gift?
Here are the 6 finished kits in their cello bags. Man, I just love cello bags, they make everything look so professional and tidy! :)

Here's the finished product. I am really excited about being able to preorder this Level 2 hostess set, since I would normally never have a workshop big enough to earn one. Stay tuned tomorrow for an awesome flip book project that I will be teaching as a class at my LSS in January. Good night!
