{rock and roll}

I am super excited because today is my first challenge post over at Ch{all}enge Masters!! However I am not super excited that Keira was up every 2 hours last night.....I feel like I have a newborn again..... :(

Anyway, if you'd like to check out the challenge thread it's HERE. This month I decided to do the Rock and Roll technique....very easy but a cool look! Here are the photos from the tutorial I did:

Supplies:

• Stamps: SU Petal Pizazz and Upsy Daisy
• Paper: Bazzil swiss dot white cardstock, SU basic black, whisper white, melon mambo and pumpkin pie
• Tools: Sewing Machine, oval punch, SU top note die
• Accessories: Black organdy ribbon, corduroy button, black rhinestones, sponge daubers and dimensionals

Supplies:

• Stamps: SU Tart and Tangy and Cheers to You
• Ink: Green Galore, Garden Green and Basic Black
• Paper: black, green galore and white
• Tools/Accessories: Circle Punch, Nestabilities Tags Trio, SU border punch, black organdy, Copic markers, black brads

{valentine challenge}

Good evening....tonight's card was one I did this week for the Cards Challenge over at Challenge Masters. What a great site! You should definitely check it out.....lots of fun challenges and inspiration over there!

Also....I will be the new Stamping Group challenge leader starting next week! I am so excited to share my creativity with others for their inspiration!

I started with a base of Basic Gray SU cardstock, layered with some Fancy Pants patterned paper. The taffeta ribbon, stamps and punches are also from Stampin' Up. I cut the large felt heart with my Spellbinders Nestabilities and Big Shot, then hand stitched around the edge and inked it up with a little red ink. Also added some machine stitching around the edge of patterned paper.....which I am obsessed with now! It's an illness! Can't make a page or card without stitching! :)

Well that's it for tonight. Time to hit the hay, 5 am will come early enough!

{cocoa gift!}

Yet another project from November! Adam and I had a dinner to attend and my sister was kind enough to come over and babysit Keira, so I made her this card and cocoa mix. All the patterned paper is from Stampin' Up, as well as the stamp set -- Like it a Latte. It is a retired set but one of my favorites! I will never get rid of it. :)

Hope you're having a good week. I am looking forward to a three day weekend coming up -- gotta love getting all the Federal Holidays off! :)

{anniversary card}

Well it seems I am FINALLY getting around to posting some cards from......November! Ugh. Life gets so busy sometimes! Especially with a little one. Keira is 8 months old now, and doing well. She'll be crawling any minute!

This card was for my in-law's anniversary. My MIL got a kick out of the big dog and little dog :)  Stamp is from Whipper Snapper, I embossed the image and colored it in with my Copics. I machine stitched around the main panel and added some brads to the corners. The sentiment is a Stampin' Up set, Happily Ever After.
