{first christmas}

I finally scrapped a picture of Keira's first Christmas! Can you believe it? ;) Actually, I had scrapped a whopping one or two before this, hehe. This is the layout I did for this week's sketch challenge over at the Pretty Little Studio blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Oh, and you might want to stop by tomorrow...just sayin. There might be a giveaway involved?? ;)

{field guide inspiration}

Nicole emailed me awhile back and asked if I would be interested in participating in a new member challenge for the SC blog. I was so excited! I was assigned to create two projects with the Field Guide kit - my all time fave :)

On this layout I used a bunch of the exclusive SC/Sassafras chipboard butterflies (my favorite!) along with different bits of patterned paper.

And here's a card I made with the kit as well. Hopefully you can participate in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by, happy Thanksgiving :)

{pumpkin patch!}

Today I have a fun and colorful layout to share with you about our trip to the pumpkin patch this year!  For my title I knew the Great Outdoors woodgrain letters would work perfectly with my theme.

Using my circle cutter, I cut a variety of sizes of circles from the right side of my page, then used the negative space to add patterned paper behind. I stitched around some of the circles and used my paper piercer on the others.  Brads from the Great Outdoors collection were perfect for my layout too.

Here's the finished layout! I love the orange/brown/green color scheme, it's perfect for fall. I hope you get the chance to sit down soon and scrapbook those fall memories before the snow starts flying! :)

{fall fun}

The Apple Cider collection from Pretty Little Studio is perfect to scrapbook your fall photos, like these ones I took at the Pumpkin Patch last month ;)

{inspired by pinterest}

This week I took a trip up to The Scrapbooking Studio and grabbed some of the new lines! The My Mind's Eye new kraft lines and Basic Grey Picadilly - just to name a few ;)  I was inspired by this layout on Pinterest to create this page.

Along with the Picadilly papers, I also used some bits from my Studio Calico Field Guide kit.

Thanks so much for coming by! We're headed to Chicago this weekend to take Keira to Shedd's aquarium. She's excited and has been talking about it for weeks :)

{silver bells}

Hi guys! The new Pretty Little Studio Jingle Bells collection is one of my favorite ones out this year! I just love the vintage images and bright colors ;)

This is the first project I made with this line, based on this sketch over at the blog. I decided to turn the sketch into a card instead of a layout!

Also, I'm doing my December Daily with this line this year...

Can't wait to show you the whole thing! :)

{ho ho ho}

It's getting to be that time of year again! Last month I got to design with some awesome Christmas papers from the Scrapbooking Studio...here are my projects!

I made a few cards using the new Authentique Christmas line, along with some Maya Road kraft snowflakes.

I also loved using the new Pebbles wood buttons! They're pre-threaded and already have foam adhesive on the back so they're super easy to use.

This layout also uses the Authentique Christmas line, along with American Crafts Thickers and some more of the Maya Road snowflakes.

I think this is my favorite project of the month! I saw this layout of Jen Jockisch's on her blog and knew I had to use the sketch for some Christmas photos I had been saving up :) The new Pebbles Christmas line is fantastic too! And those silver Thickers are great for Christmas pages.

I also did a quick little tag mini-book with the Pebbles line ;)

Make sure you follow the blog for more inspiration from the design team. Merry early Christmas! {have you started your shopping yet? I'm trying to not procrastinate this year!}

{sketch 258}

Time for another sketch at Pencil Lines!

Here's my take, I did a card this week:

I used a mix of Pink Paislee, Fancy Pants, American Crafts and We R Memory Keepers...along with some brads from Echo Park. Just basically anything that was laying on my desk at the moment :)

Thanks for stopping by today!
