{scrapbook circle october kit}

Today I'm sharing my final two layouts with Scrapbook Circle's News Flash kit! I had a few Instagrams from a little trip my husband and I took for our anniversary so I decided to use them all on this page.

I've been using my typewriter a lot more lately. I typed captions for each photo on kraft paper and trimmed them out.

I used Instagrams for this page too :) I wanted to capture how beautiful Fall is right now and how I'm really enjoying the trees out here at our new house. The Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic in the kit is perfect for a layout like this.

{color challenge - bella blvd}

This week, Stephanie challenged a few of us on the Bella Blvd DT to create a project based on this color scheme. Here's what I came up with.

I started my page by layering a large chevron die cut over some blue patterned paper from the Baby Boy collection.

 For my title I used my Silhouette as well, along with Bella Blvd alpha stickers and designer tapes that you can see here :)

Thanks for looking! If you want to play along and have a chance to win some Bella goodies, check out the blog today :)

{scrapbook circle - best day ever}

Hi there! Today at the Scrapbook Circle blog, I'm showing you how to make the most out of your printable this month. I actually used every piece of the printable except for one on this layout ;)

The first thing I like to do is print it out, then cut or punch all the elements out so I can see what I'm working with.

As you can see here, I've layered some of the pieces and added some stitching. I also LOVE to add pop dots to create more dimension.

Totally love the arrows in the printable this month, that is one trend I am on board with!

Here's a peek at a few of the free cut files I'll be offering today. Totally love that smile frame, and as you can see here, it's not just for a picture!

I've created some cut files based on the printable that you can download free!

Click HERE to be taken to the download page for this cut file. Hope you have fun with it! We'd love it if you'd share your projects on the Scrapbook Circle Facebook page.

{candy corn card - GCD studios}

Today I'm sharing a cute and simple Halloween card with you that would be easy to make with your die-cutting machine. I started by using plain cardstock to make my candy corn shape, then added a speech bubble with the Letter Tiles paper from the Splendor collection.

Finish the card off with a few strips of patterned paper and stamped phrase and you're done! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Halloween!
